Pumpkin Carving

Sunday we had the family over for some pumpkin carving fun. Of course the dads ended up being the ones doing all of the work, and had a good time doing it!

I made an apple pie from scratch, crust and all. It was the best apple pie ever!

My completely unbiased husband even said so!Isn't it pretty. Leaf cut outs and everything.

I Love Autumn

I just love the fall. I wish it were a little cooler this year, but we will press on.

We went to Oak Glen last week to pick our own pumpkins.

Most of us had a good time!

Don't be fooled by the expression on his face.

He is having the time of his life! He is extatic we just drove 1 1/2 hours to walk around a dusty pumpkin patch, while it's 100 degrees outside, only to pay 3x more than we would have if we went to Ralphs. Really, he's having a blast.
