Lake Arrowhead Getaway

This year in lieu of Christmas gifts my brother-in-law Brent suggested that the six of us (Brent, Lynelle, Chris, Lynnae, Bart and I) go on a trip together without the kids. We rented a cabin in Lake Arrowhead from one of Brent's coworkers. Unfortunately the weekend of our trip Lynnae's girls were very sick and she and Chris couldn't make it. We dropped the kids off at school and headed out of town. We stopped at 2 wineries to do some tasting. The first was Galleano. It was okay. Very small store, but the tasting was free.
They had a little guinea pig farm, and donkeys.
Sorry you missed the donkeys Lynnae, but I took you a picture. The second winery was Joseph Philipi. Much nicer. It was in Rancho Cucamonga about 10 min. away from Galleanos. The tasting was $5. It was a fun day trip.

We played games at the cabin, ate-alot, and watched Food Network.

The cabin was charming, and yes that is an antler chandelier you see behind us!
Saturday evening we went to see Slumdog Millionaire. If you haven't seen it yet-go, right now!
I loved it.
We had an awesome time.
We missed Chris and Lynnae, but I'm sure we'll be doing that again very soon.

I married me a Cowboy ladies!

Couldn't find a picture of my hubby without me in it. Sorry!
Bart was checking out at the Van Husen Outlet, I walked up and the checker was totally flirting with him. She said he looked exactly like Tony Romo. I had never thought of that and I agreed with her. Then she preceded to tell us she was going to marry him someday... Tony Romo that is.
They do look alike, don't they?
In my unbiased opinion Bart is way HOTTER!
