Victory

I just got this book called "The Three Battlegrounds" by Francis Frangipane. I am only a few pages in and I LOVE it!

The first principle it teaches is...

Victory begins with the name of Jesus on your lips, but it will not be consummated until the nature of Jesus is in your heart.

The book explains that Satan will be allowed to come against the area of our weakness until we realize God's only answer is to become Christlike.

Satan will not continue to assault us if the circumstances he designed to destroy us are now working to perfect us!

I have really been allowing this statement to penetrate me. It is putting a lot of things in perspective for me right now. There are things that He is working out in us. He is using the delays and the waiting to make not only me and my husband more Christlike, but also all our children as well.
