Redemption

I don't know these people personally, but I know this Spirit.
This is the Spirit that redeemed my life from the pit.
This is the Spirit that said 'I love you' when I was unloveable.
This is the Spirit that called me His daughter, and adopted me into His royal family.
This is the Spirit that commanded that I care for the widow and orphan.
This is the Spirit that says seek justice, defend the oppressed, take up the cause of the fatherless.
This Spirit has moved me from head knowledge, to a broken heart, into action.
What will you allow this Spirit to do to you, because of what He has already done for you?!

Happy Father's Day!

My husband is the most amazing father I know. We just celebrated our 18th anniversary on a flight to Ethiopia to meet our 5th child. And he is just as excited about it as I am! There aren't many men out there like my man.
Watching my husband be a father to our children is my greatest joy. I didn't have a relationship with my father, and God has used my husband to heal some of those broken places.
Bart is kind, patient, tender, loving, compassionate, and godly in the way he parents.
I am most proud of the way he leads our family spiritually. He is always ready to obey God, even when it means being uncomfortable, which is ALWAYS what it means.
He shows our sons how to be a great husband, and has set a high standard for the type of man our girls will choose to marry.
I LOVE YOU BART BOULTON!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

The Newest Boulton

We are so excited to introduce you to our beautiful daughter
B Boulton!

Blowing bubbles with her big sister.

Playing Pat-a-Cake with daddy.

Giving my daughter a big squeeze.

It is official! She is ours!
She is the most awesome little girl in the world!
We had such a great time with her.
She has been in her room at the foster care center probably the longest,
and let me tell you, she is running the show!
She is outgoing and always smiling, she is affectionate, and a leader.
She is going to be quite the handful for me, and I cannot wait!

So our paperwork should be submitted to the US Embassy by the end of this month.
It should take them 1 week to let us know if they need any other info.
If they do not, we should be able to get her a week later!
Praying they won't ask for any more information, or for any documents to be changed!
The final mile of the LONGEST marathon!

Mommy and Daddy are coming to get you soon Batri!

I will sing the LORD’s praise,
for he has been good to me. Psalm 13:6
